how we calculate ROI
total annual conversations
We use your total annual conversations, the number of agents you employ, and the annual cost of each agent to determine the average cost per conversation.
automated resolution rate
We use a conservative 40% automated resolution rate to determine the number of annual conversations that we can automatically resolve—without the need for a human agent. At ada, we only count quality automated resolutions, not containment or deflection. We only consider a conversation automatically resolved when it is accurate, relevant and safe—without the intervention of a human.
cost savings opportunity
We determine your year one cost savings opportunity by taking the number of automatically resolved conversations and multiplying them by the average cost per conversation (as calculated above).
We calculate cost savings opportunities over three years by assuming a 10% year over year growth rate in conversation volume, as well as a conservative 30% year over year automated resolution rate improvement (based on ada’s continuous coaching and improvement approach).
