Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion At Ada

It’s important to us that we do our part in creating more equity in the tech industry. These are the steps we are taking to push our efforts forward and hold ourselves accountable towards that goal.

Ada's Digital Land Acknowledgement

Ada was founded on land that is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples and is home to many First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.

Our Philosophy On Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Ada believes that diverse teams make significantly better decisions, driving stronger business outcomes. The best ideas can come from anyone and different backgrounds shape ideas into stronger solutions. We believe that exclusion and inequality are wrong. We want to be a part of making the tech industry a more fair one that best reflects our global community.

We looked at the demographics of our applicants, our team, our industry and recognize that we still have a journey of learning ahead of us. We will continue to monitor and re-assess our efforts over time to inform our decision-making.

Our strategy involves 3 pillars:
